This exceptional ring features an original silver tetradrachm from the Macedonian Kingdom, minted in the name of Alexander III the Great.

• Obverse: Head of Heracles facing right, wearing a lion-skin headdress—symbolizing strength and courage. The lion’s paws are tied at the neck.
• Reverse: Zeus seated on a backless throne, right leg drawn back. He holds an eagle in his right hand and a scepter in his left. The left field bears the letter "N," and below the seat, the letter "Σ." Inscribed AΛEΞANΔPOY (Alexander).
